How To Treat High SGPT, Uric Acid And BP In A Hypothyroid Person?

hello sir.....i m 30 yrs old..i have high sgpt ( 90), high uric acid ( 8), high bp sometimes 150, height 5ft6inch an weight 88kg...hypothyroid last reading 6.5......plkease suggest me how n what to do sir...to get rid of this situation...waiting.....thanks & regards.my email id is YYYY@YYYY

Hi,

1. Regarding your thyroid disorder your TSH is still high - You need to increase the dose of thyroid hormone replacement you are on.

2. Boderline elevated SGOT and uric acid levels are seen because you are obese and you may be suffering form fatty liver. I suggest you to consult a physician who will do an ultrasound abdomen to look for fatty liver. If I were your treating physician I would have suggested you to have regular exercise and dietary modifications and rechecked your liver function tests and Uric acid after 3 months before starting you on any medications.
