Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had my gull bladder removed a week ago, I ended up with some infection in one of the incisions, now I am experiencing pain in my upper right quadrant under my rib cage and intense heartburn clear up into my ears... What could still be causing this? I also had a really black bowel movement this morning. Thanks
Hi and welcome to HCM. Thanks for the query.
It sounds like to be gallbladder stone and this is common disorder. You need to do ultrasound to prove it and then plan further therapy which should includedietary changes, spasmex and ursodeoxicolic acid pills. If there is no success then you need to consier surgical removal of gallbladder.
I hope I have answered your question.
Wish you good health. Regards
