Irregular bleeding is quite common in the first three months of oral contraceptive pill use. I suggest that you continue taking your pills every day as instructed by your physician. The bleeding should correct itself or you should go back for a different prescription. It doesn't mean that anything is wrong with you. You should not be frightened. This is a very common occurrence. You chould discuss with the person who prescribed your pills whether or not they want you to double up on your pills for a few days to stop this current episode of bleeding since it distresses you. Otherwise I think it will correct itself if you waited out.
