How To Treat Severe Contractions In Arms, face And Abdomen ?

I had a day-long gastrointestinal problem. I had an episode in which i believe the virus played a role in. I started getting light headed and felt a numbness in my hands. This eventually moved up to my arms, then face, then abdomens, and the legs. I was having uncontrollable contractions in my arms, face, and abdomens and couldn t pronounce words as my tongue wasn t functional. I barely avoided passing out as my friend calmed me down. Could you help me understand what happened?

Hello,

You may be suffering from cervical facial spasms or hemifacial spasm or dystonia.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

It may be due to side effects to the drug or infection or parkinsonism or partial seizures etc.

Get it done MRI brain and general examination.

Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
