How To Treat Small Blisters Outside The Upper Lip In The Middle?

My 4 year old son developed several small blisters on the outside of his upper lip in the middle. It looks like clear liquid in the blisters but they re not altogether in a cluster, it s a little more spread out, but it is in the same area. The area underneath the blisters are red and swollen. No other symptoms like fever or cough. Any ideas of what it could be?

Hi

Your son seems to have developed herpetic infection over the lips.
Now this basically presents with development of grouped blisters on a red base .
Since this is the first episode in your child, it might be essential to get him checked and treat the infection with a proper course of antivirals.
So you should keep the affected area clean and dry. See a nearby doctor soon.
