How To Treat The Stiffness And Pain Of The Neck Caused By A Fall?

Hi, I was playing soccer and went sliding into a player (tackling) and came down hard hitting my head on the grass. I heard a cracking sound and felt it on the right side of the neck about half way down my neck. It is stiff and I feel like I lost alot of strength to hold my head up as I lean back. Should I rush to an ER or wait for doctor visit. I have taken a an ibuprofen which helps with the stiffness.

Visit the ER as soon as possible as it could be a cervical spine injury and get your X-ray and MRI done
