How To Treat Watery Motions In A Child?

My 4.3yrs. son initially started watery motions 14-15 times daily & Omet AND HEAD PAIN . Medicine line ONDEM, Zifi 100 mg,ECONORM SACLECT, CROCIN & ENTEROGERMINA . After 2 days symptom was same. then he add REDOTIL30, after taken redotil30 he not motion 12-14 hours but after 14 hour he srarted same watery motion frequently.pls suggest.

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. It seems your kid is having acute watery diarrhea. Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry.

Unless there is blood in the motion there is no need for antibiotics or cultures. Antibiotics might worsen if unnecessarily used causing antibiotic associated diarrhoea. I suggest you use zinc supplements & ORS.
