I Am Wearing Glasses, Is It Safe To Use Contact Lens ?

I am 19year old going to college, I have short sight since 2 years, I am wearing glasses. My eye power is 2 in right eye and 2.5 in left eye. Now a days all my frinds tease me and call me soda. I do not ant to use my glass. Can I use contact lens, Is it safe to use this at his age

Contact lenses have to be used very carefully.You have to remove them while taking a bath and also when you go to sleep.They also have to be kept very clean otherwise the cornea can get infected.Laser surgery(LASIK) is a good option for you if you can afford it.

hello
contact lenses are safe you can go for disposable contact lenses which can be used monthly .If your corneal thickness and corneal scan are normal you can have laser refractive surgery by good lasik surgeon.

contact lenses are easy and safe if practised properly or else it will be hazaderdous. it can scratch the cornea and cause wound and blindness also. so it is safe only if you learn how to use it.

yes you have to be very careful in wearing a contact lens because of the risk of external infection through your hands. You have to wear normal glasses while travelling in traffic and pollution which is deadly in cities. I am sure you got the answer by now that you can choose contacts but the process is cumbersome though I do it without fail
