I Have Hyperthyroidism (goiter) And Endometriosis. Is There Any Treatment Possible For Me?

hello My name is Enna,am 30 years old i have hyperthyroidism ( goiter ) and also have endometriosis at the same time...The doctor surgically removed my right ovary due to the ruptured cysts measuring 12x11cm and now after 9 mos the endometriosis came back and invading my left ovary and had trans V ultrasound and found out a 5x5cm of chocolate cysts again right now my period is almost every week...I dont want to lose my ovary since it will cause me menapause and that s something i dont want ..is there any treatment possible for me? Please enlighten me..Thank You

Hello.
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
Since you are having chocolate cysts in your ovary, it is best to get them removed before the endometrium spreads further into your abdominal cavity as it is a very painful condition.If you opt for this surgery it is better to get your uterus also removed alongwith to prevent further complications.

You can get rid of this problem by taking oral contraceptive pills for a long time or by becoming pregnant,or taking long term progestogens.

Dear Doctor Rakhi,

Does it mean i need Hysterectomy? My recent Gyne said i could just take the Depo Provera shot and the Pills will this help? and what are the possibilties that it won't harm me more? And about the removal of my ovary and uterus what will be the effect in my body? I also have Goiter ..

That was my Ob gyne wants me on a high dose progesterone shot and nordette pills combination but i am still not ready for the side effects...As of now i don't feel any hurting but i my period is like every week..but i don't know yet what will be the effect of the shot in my body..i dont feel any hurting in my pelvic but the cyst is growing ..i had trans v last month and THE DIAGNOSIS I HAVE
NORMAL SIZE ANTEVERTED UTERUS WITH PROFELATIVE ENDOMETRIUM 0.8
ENDOMETRIAL CYST LEFT OVARY 5.0 X4.2X4.0 CMS AND LEFT OVARY IS CYSTICALLY ENLARGE CERVIX 2.4X2.2X2.0 CMS NOBOTHIAN CYST: NONE AND MY RIGHT OVARY IS SURGICALLY ABSENT. BECAUSE SHE PERFORMED SURGERY 9 MOS AGO. PLEASE HELP me decide what is the best thing to do...I am only 30 and i still want to get pregnant my sister has Cervical cancer and i don't want this to fall into cancer...thats why i seek for all doctors advise online...
