MY mOM (55 yrs) IS An IBS patient and also under treatment of a reputed psychiatrist in Kolkata for her depressed mood and obstructive thoughts, She is also been reported at a counselling as abnormal touchy.... Since last month she is feeling very week n a periodic illness of IBS i.e Loose motion 3 or 4 times in a month. She is given Orindazole & omifloxacin commbo 02 and sometimes dependal M..... Relyte powder etc Does dR reddy s econorm can help her? or anything else? Ritam Mukherjee

I can understand this, your mother has some functional elements in such patients, apart from the anti-psychiatric drug given other drug without the indication is not advisable, you have to stop the anti-biotic here, because this could induce the diarrhea, even stop the other anti-diarrheal drugs, just keep the anti-psychiatric drugs continue, and no need to worry about this she would be fine soon, hope this information helps you have nice day.
