Ill, Sore Throat, Fatigue, Lack Of Appetite, Green Stools, Rash On Chest, Head, Had Vertigo, Blood Test Done High WBC. Suggestion?

I'm very concerned about my husband. He's been feeling ill for 4 weeks now. He has been to the doctor twice to get blood drawn. The only thing they have found so far is a high WBC count.
It started off like a bad cold. Very sore throat, fatigue, lack of appetite. He also had vertigo early on and shortness of breath. As the weeks went on, the symptoms changed some to less vertigo to diarrhea. The fatigue has gotten worse to the point where he's crawling up the steps. Now, at week 4 his stools have been green and he has a rash on his chest and head. He's going back to the Dr. soon but I'm frustrated an scared!

Hi,
the explanatioin looks like throat infection initially with sore throat and raised WBC count with other associated symptoms. Now since the symptoms have gone suggests that he is recovered from throat infection.
But diarrhea with green stool, rash on chest and head, fatigue suggests some problem in GIT or hepato biliary system. The green stool may be due to diarrhea which has led to fast movement of bile into colon without altering or due to lack of bacterial flora due to long term use of antibiotic. This needs further evaluation. Get done complete haemogram, LFT and stool examination.
For now have good hydration with electrol powder, fiber food,Cap racecodotril to reduce diarrhea and get the investigations done and consult your doctor for further management.
