Hi, CAN I ASK SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT MY WRIST? I AM PLAYING SOFTBALL AND I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY WRIST ALL THE TIME NOW FOR THE LAST 2 MONTHS, THERE IS NOT INFLAMATION, NO FRACTURE, BUT EVERY TIME I SLIDE OR FELL ON MY HANDS THE PAIN INCREASES, LOOKING AT PICTURES I THINK IS THE HAMETE BONE, HOW CAN I MAKE THE PAIN GO AWAY, WHAT CAN I do to make it better? Hello, Welcome to Healthcaremagic. As you are soft ball player, Extensor carpi ulnaris subluxation can be the cause for your wrist pain in ulnar side. Immobilisation with cast and Pain killers like diclofenac or brufen are the treatment for ECU Subluxation. Other conditions are tenosynovitis and arthritis. Which also need immobilisation for some weeks. Take care
Hi, it appears to be the arthritis, ganglion, or carpal tunnel symdrome. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe, neurotropic injections, for 5 consecutive days, along with medication. Thank you.
