Infant Has Severe Cold, Mild Laryngomalacia. Advised For Nebulization With Budecort And Nasoclear Drops. Safe To Use?
*My 1 month old baby was advised for nebulization with BUDECORT 0.5 mg respules ( 4 days * 3 doses) since she is having severe cold. The doctor also said that she is having mild laryngomalacia. We are in hyderabad, india. i was asked to use Nasoclear drops also along with this. Is that really ok? why not some syrup? i mean any alternative ?
*i found quite a long list for immunization? i dont want baby to be hurt unnecessarily. Can u plz suggest the vaccines that are compulsory & those which though listed in optional are still necessary?
Hi, Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic. For cold, usually Budecort nebulization is not necessary. Simple Nasoclear nasal drops are sufficient and oral antihistamine drops like Maxtra or Tmnic in prescribed dose is sufficient. Immunizations are important in the protection of the child from various life threatening diseases. I suggest you to take all recommended vaccinations as per your pediatrician advise. At present the all immunizations in the list are highly recommended and there is no like optional. There are combination vaccines and painless vaccines available which decrease hurting by decreasing the number of injections and pain. Hope I have answered your query. Regards.
