Infant Having Stringy Bowels, Diarrhea, Severe Gas. Cause And Medicines?

My baby is 3 months and been having diarhea for 7 days now. He also been having gas really bad for the last 3 days. His bowels are stringy. What can I give him and whats the cause of this?

If the baby is on breast feeding,you may please check your diet and make some alterations.the baby is having some digesion problem in some foods which u r currently giving.check it out.also check the whether the baby has got any lactose intolerance.
try giving boiled apples for good results.
