Inflamed Left Eye, Clear, Raised Matter Floating Outside Iris. Dermatologist Used Steroid Shot On Neck. Suggestions?

my left eye became somewhat inflamed about 2 hours ago in the outside corner. I put an ice pack on the eye covered with wash cloth. I noticed now that the eye seems to have clear, raised matter outside the iris floating in the red irritation. This wasn't there 2 hours ago. Do you have any suggestions/answers/recommendations? I have not used eye drops or eye wash. Yesterday, my dermatologist used a steroid shot on my neck (the other side) in order to smooth out a scar that is there on the right side of my neck. For what it's worth.

Hi, the steroid shot may not have any effect on the eye. It is an infection of the eye , may be conjunctivitis.
I advise you to consult an ophthalmologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe ofloxacin 200 B.D., diclophenac sodium 50 B.D., and gentamycin eye drops . Thank you.
