Injured My Finger. Skin Torn Near Cuticle. Infection Better With Antibiotic. Wound Looks Bigger. No Fever, Swelling. Suggestions?

I injured my finger 2 and a half weeks ago, skin was torn near the cuticle. seemed infected last week, until I resumed the antibiotic ointment with the bandaids. The wound looks bigger now--like the skin is peeling, and the edges are white with holes. A little puffy, but not "swollen", no fever. The base of the nail has a bruise.

Hi,
It seems that you infection at the site.
Go for one oral antibiotic medicine course and you will be alright.
Apply antibiotic cream after proper cleaning.
