Is 2.4cm Thickness Of Uterine Lining Normal In A Menstrual Cycle?

Hi recently found out I am anaemic. Was referred for a scan as doctor suspected fibroids. I was on day 21 of my cycle when I had scan and it showed small fibroids and lining of womb 2.4cm. I have a regular cycle and I am 41. No bleeding between periods but I get heavy painful prolonged periods and experience pelvic pain during the month. My doctor said it was just me and not to be concerned at all. Should I be asking to be referred for further examination or is 2.4cm lining normal for where I was in cycle. Thank you
