Is Advent Forte Enough For Coughing And Stomach Pain For A 6 Year Old Child?

Doc, My son who is 6yrs old is running a temperature and he's quiet chesty. He is complaining of stomach pain every time he coughs. I have started on Advent Forte from last night. Will this medicine be enough or do i have to give him ambrolite S along with it?

Hi

Advent Forte is an antibiotic and is better to be started after having seen a doctor.
Bad chesty cough also demands examination by a doctor.
If he is a wheezy kid, its likely that he might have wheeze now also.

Till you see the doctor, you may give him Ambrolite S thrice a day.
Along with that you may give Paracetamol suspension every 6 hrs for fever.

If cough is bad, your doctor might suggest inhalational medicines (Nebulizations) too. So please do consult your doctor.
