Is Baby On Risk Of CMV?

hi there,
my friiend gave a birth to girl but before her she was having CMV infection-IGG . Then she had a treatment. now baby is 1 month old having fever due to stomach infection. Is it possible there may be risk of CMV for the baby. now she is having fever

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
IgG antibodies suggest past infection and IgM antibodies suggest present infection.
Babies are born with cogenital malfomations with CMV infection in the mother .
Better consult pediatrican to rule out infection.
