Is Beans Safe To Consume During Diverticulitis?
Good afternoon, I was diagnosed with diverticulitis. I am a bit confused because my father has the same thing and he was told never to eath beans, yet I am under the understanding that bean may be eaten and also raw vegetables. Can you please clarifiy this confusion?

Bean is high fiber and protein rich food with containing antioxidant also ....
So yes it can be taken....
High fiber diet and bulk forming agents useful in diverticular disease....
Drink lots of fluid....
Fruit juice more....
Excess spicy food avoided.
Smoking , alcohol not done....
Rest taken ....
Full course of antibiotic needed.....
If pain more then mebeverine like musculotropic drug useful.
Take care.
