Is Breath Test Advisable For Irregularities Related To GI?
Hi, I was asked to get a breath test which would assist in diagnosis of any hernia s or irregularities related to the GI tract. What would be prescribed on the pre-req form? is it a separate test requiring a separate pre-req form or do you need to be referred to a specialist by your GP?
This is could be something new, a breath test for Hernia. Let me inform you that breath test being done for the allergic condition where asthma suspected, or for alcohol consumed.
What kind of a hernia is there it is not mentioned because a hernia is the condition can happen anywhere in the body.
It is the displacement of an internal organ from original place to adjoining areas.
So asking for a breathing test is not the proper test, you have to get this confirmed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
