Is Budecort 100 Right Medication For Bronchitis In Kids?

my nine year son regulary suffered with allergic rhinitis and bronchitis. the doctor has put him on budecort 100 2 puffs BD. she has adviced to continuously give the medicine for two years. is it correct to give the medicine continuously for two years

Hi...Budecort is an inhaled corticosteroid and it is suggested to be used in asthma and multi triggered wheeze or viral associated wheeze. Regarding continuing the medication for 2 years it depends on symptom control. If the symptoms are controlled well then it has to gradually tapered and stopped. But the symptom control is not good then the drug might even be stepped up.
