Is Ciprax 100 The Right Medication For Fever Of A 1 Year Old Child?

Hi my 1 year old son has been having fever for 4 days. Temperature between 99.8-102. Gave him crocin suspension but the fever kept coming again. Doctor is expecting mild typhoid. He is on Ziprax 100 now 2.5 mo twice aday. Is this the right medication?
