Is Diagnosed Typhoid In A Child With History Of Wheezong Concerning?

my son who is 3 years old diagnosed with typhoid. his body temperature is normal. blood widal report shows S.Typhi O 1:160 DIL Positive and S.Typhi H 1:80 DIL Positive and Hb10.7gm/dl. because of wheezing doctor advised to avoid fruits. very much concerned about his health. Please advice.

I understand your concern.

If typhoid Specific antibiotics are started for your child there is nothing to worry . infection will come in control with time . wheezing might not be related typhoid it might be from respiratory infection or allergy . take medication as prescribed by your physician .
