Is Frequent Urge To Urinate In A 34-year-old Due To Hormonal Malfunction?

My age 34. I am suffering from frequent urge of urination specially at morning and evening time. Some times experienced leakage of urine. I don t feel any problem at night. Physician prescribed me Ucol. My kidney and prostate shape is normal. Dr. says it is normal but I don t feel any improvement. I feel urge of urination whether I think! Is it hormonal malfunction? Would you please suggest me what can I do now?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* There does not sound to be hormone malfunction related disturbance.
* The detailed evaluation with uroflowmetry would reveal the cause which may be neurologic affecting bladder muscle, internal meatus or other controls of the micturition pathway.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
