Is It Advisable To Take Ayurvedic Medicines For Constipation While Trying To Get Pregnant ?
Hi, If someone is trying to get pregnant , is it Ok to take the Sheth brothers ( Ayurvedic Medicine) Kayam churna for constipation ?is it safe?Or it will create any issues in getting pregnant? Thanks

hi welcome to hcm.see first you know the reason why you have problem of constipation?you drink plenty of fluid in day plus increase amount of fiber in your diet .increase intake of green leafy veg in your diet increase intake of salad.you can take kayam churan but don't be habit of these.avoid jerm food which disturb stomach.you can also try homoeopathy for badly constipation which is completely safe in pregnancy.

Hi welcome to H.C.M.Forum, when you are so eager to have pregnancy, it is better not to use any drugs, till you become pregnant, and crosses 1st trimester. because one should avoid all other drugs other than ante natal drugs in the 1st trimester. it is safe. you can use when there is necessory, with the advise of a gynaecologist. thank you.

hi welcome to HCM, There is no side effect of kayam churn if u take it in an proper dose for ur constipation u take 1 tea spoon of ghee in warm milk at bed time.It lubricates ur digestive system and benificial for ur babis health also..

If you are not habitual of kayam churna then i would not advice you to take it for your constipation . Once you start taking it , you will have to take it daily . So better to start with some mild lexatives like harde , isabgul.
Regarding the chances of pregnancy , as per my opinion it can not harm much in getting pregnant but it is surly a contraindicated medicine after pregnancy . lexatives are contraindicated during pregnancy . Better to take any ayurveda medicine under the moderation of ayurveda specialist .
