Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
I have read your question in detail and I know that you are very concerned about your child.
Metronidazole doesn't pass through breast milk and will have no effect on baby.
You can continue taking metronidazole and also you should continue breastfeeding the baby.
There is no need to replace metronidazole.
I hope this will help you.
Wishing your child good health.
Take care.
