Is It Dangerous To Mix Alcohol With Antibiotics?

Hi I just had a wisdom tooth extraction, I have stopped taking pain killers. However I am still taking amoclan bid antibiotics - Amoxycillin trihydrate equivalent to amoxicillin 875 mg / potassium clavulanate equivalent to clavulanic acid 125 mg . How long after finishing the course would I be able to drink alcohol? Is it dangerous to mix alcohol with this antibiotic?

Hello

Thanks for the query

Please do not mix alcohol and antibiotics. It is contraindicated as it reduces the antibiotic efficacy and also increases the chances of gastritis.
You can start taking alcohol immediately after finishing your course
