Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your problem description. You must have heard the popular saying. "an apple a day keeps the doctor away".

But now a days, to keep an apple look fresh and attractive different unhygienic methods are used like waxing etc., If chosen carefully and given to the child moderately can improve the digest system, metabolism and immunity.

Some children do have some indigestion problems with daily apple intake. For them it is not advisable. also avoid apple if the child has flu or cold conditions. Apples do burns calories but not much so that you start worrying, there is no conclusive evidence for that.

Hope this clears your doubts. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
