Is It Good To Take HP Kit Medicine For Peptic Ulcer?
Dear Dr. Charles, 3 years back, I had a severe stomach pain and the doctor confirmed that it is peptic ulcer by endoscopic test. He advised to take GI KIT medicines for a month and it was cured completely. Last week, I had a same symptoms suddenly and within two days the pain was severe. As advised by local medical pharmacist, he recommended HP KIT medicines instead of GI KIT since it was stopped several years back. Please advise me whether I can take HP kit medicine or not. First is that we do not know what is your stomach pain due to. There are many causes of abdominal pain and peptic ulcer is just one of them. So if the pain is severe, you need to get medical attention to find the cause.
HP kit should be taken only after confirming that your pain is due to peptic ulcer.
