Is It Normal If My Baby Has Continuous Loose Motions And Pass Urine After Breast Feeding ?
Hi Doctor, My baby boy is one month old and he is having so many loose motions, that is very watery and continuosly passing his urine after feeding. iam breast feeding him. he got rash in the diaper area for loose motions. doctor gave me ointments and told me that no need of medicine for motoins, it will stop naturally. is it ok about my baby condition. is it normal. thankyou in advance.

Yes it is a natural condition in a one month old baby to have loose motions.There is nothing to worry about it.The motions will stop on their own.The important thing you are suppose to do is breastfeed your baby as much as possible and keep the diaper area clean and dry.your baby will be fine. Hi, Your baby is completely normal. What you have described above is a normal reflex in babies called as Gastrocolic reflex, where after each feed baby passes stool. This will eventually and gradually reduce and the child will resume normal bowel functions as it grows. This is experienced by every child which is born.
