Is It Normal To Have A Knot In The Injured Area Of The Head?

I was hit in the head 6 months ago and my head is still has a huge knot where I was hit. Is that normal? When I was hit I passed out and went to the ER. I had a concussion and they said there was swelling and bruising on the scan but did not tell me I needed to follow up later. They said I would be fine. Should I see a doctor? or is this normal?

Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe you had loss of consciousness,at the time of the hit, and the bruice is still continuing.
I advise you to consult a neurologist for diagnosis and treatment, and for the follow up of the condition to prevent further complications.
Of course it is not a matter to worry, as there is no head ache, and vomitings, it is to exclude any further complications.
Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. thank you.
