Is It Normal To Have A Period That Last For A Year?

Is it normal to have a period that last for a year or so?? SERIOUS PEOPLE ONLY PLEASE!? Okay..this sounds crazy, but it s all TRUE!!! I have been bleeding for over a year. It s off and on though. BUT, I don t think this is normal. When I was bleeding for 4 months already I went to my docter, and HE says that it was normal. I certainly don t believe him. I was off for 2 weeks then it came back. And of course, I am scared! I get paranoid like what if I can t get pregnant??? HELP PLEASE!!!
