Is It Normal To Have Diarrhea With Stomach Cramping When Placed Catheter For Bladder Recovery?

I am 40 years old. I had a laparascopy hysterectomy 6 days a go. My bladder was perforated and they were able to fix it. I'm home with a cathether which it needs to be in place for two weeks to give time for my bladder to recover. Today I satarted having diarrhea and my some how concern. I dont have fever but Im having stomack cramping. I stop the stool softener today to see how I feel tomorrow . Should I be concerned, is this normal?
thank you,
Lily
