Is It Normal To Have Diarrhea With Stomach Cramping When Placed Catheter For Bladder Recovery?
I am 40 years old. I had a laparascopy hysterectomy 6 days a go. My bladder was perforated and they were able to fix it. I'm home with a cathether which it needs to be in place for two weeks to give time for my bladder to recover. Today I satarted having diarrhea and my some how concern. I dont have fever but Im having stomack cramping. I stop the stool softener today to see how I feel tomorrow . Should I be concerned, is this normal? thank you, Lily
Diarrhea and cramps in your case may be due to antibiotics which your are taking.
Catheter in bladder has no concern with diarrhea and cramps.
