Is It Normal To Have Green Watery Stools In A Breastfed Baby?

Hello, My 2 month old baby has had green watery stools after every feed (he is breastfed). A stool test showed presence of 3-4 / hpf pus cells and 3-4 / hpf macrophages. Reducing substances were absent. Is this normal? What should be the treatment? Thanks

frequent watery stools are quite common or a small breast fed child..
Give the baby some probiotics like lactobacillie etc.Need not to give any antibiotics.

Pediatrician Dr. Vibin K V's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM forum,
I would like to re assure you that your baby is totally normal. The stools at this age is normal and the report you mentioned is also normal for the age. I would suggest no treatment for your baby and advise you to continue only breast feeds in the same way you are doing now and would like to congratulate you for doing such a good job as a very responsible mother.
Take care.
Happy to help.
