Is It Safe To Remove Adenoids And Tonsils In The Baby?

hello, I took my 2 year old son to the ENT doctor and he advice that his adenoids and tonsils should be remove. Is this procedure safe? Will removing then affect him in the future?
Also he wants to drain is ear because of fluid in the middle part of the ear. Is this also safe and would it affect my son earning

Your son must be having enlarged adenoids.Which is resulting into recurrent Otitis media(ear infection). If it is chronic then sometimes draining of ear is required. It is done to protect ear and hence hearing. Adenoidectomy is done under general anesthesia and is generally safe.In my view tonsils shouldn't be removed. They are our defence organs
