Is It Safe To Take Cholesterol And Thyroid Medicines Together?

hi ,i am on sytheroid medicine for low thyroids.my doctor wonts to put me on cholesteral medicine, because high cholesteral runs in my family ,and my cholesteral is usually 240 -340. my worry and question. what cholesteral medicine is safe to take with my thyroid problem and thyroid medicine. all the write ups show the two can not be taken together. whats safe for me???

Hi,

In my opinion the both can be taken together. Better is that you take thyroid medicine empty stomach and cholesterol medicine after meals any time. Atorvastatin or Rosuvastatin daily may be taken by you for your cholesterol problem.
