Is It Safe To Take Isoniazid While Breastfeeding?

now i am 33 weeks pregnant.. first the health department here in florida they said i have tuberculosis but i dont have sign or symptoms of being that, i took the x-ray test is negative,now my doctor said again i have inactive tuberculosis she gave me two kinds of medicine which is the isoniazid and vitamin b-6.. but i refused to take it because im preganant im worry about my baby,so i told her after deliver my baby i will take it, but i worry again. this is my question is it a=safe to take that medications while im breasfeed?

Thanks for so cautious about your baby.
If your doctor told you that you have tuberculosis , so please take these medicines according to doctor's advise.
The ISONIAZIDE is a most potent anti tubercular drug and you can use very safely even during pregnancy and after delivery ( during breast feeding) .
Whenever require this drug can be used in infants and children in the dose of 10-15 mg / body weight .
So be sure that it is harmless medicine for children .
