Which is better Xarelto or Plavix? From what I understand, Xarelto has many lawsuits, but my doctor prescribes it for me. I take 20mg daily and confess I m afraid to take it. Xarelto and plavix are different drugs with different indications. Xarelto is indicated in deep vein thrombosis, atrial fibrillation, orthopedic operations and pulmonary embolism. Plavix is indicated in vascular conditions like coronary artery disease, stroke and peripheral disease.
