Is It To Be Concerned About Swelling In The Anus?

Hi, I’m 21 yrs yrs old and I was recently diagnosed with pneumonia. I really have a hard time coughing and maybe it affected my anus.. Few days ago I observed that there was a small swell in my anus and I’m really having a hard time releasing my poop. Sometimes there is blood & blood clots coming out together with my poop. Is it serious? Should I see a doctor now?

General Surgeon 's  Response
hello ,myself dr yash
i have gone through your question.
According to your history , probably you are suffering with Hemorrhoids (pilles) or Rectal polyp (which is associated with swelling , blood and blood clots).
To diagnose both you have to go for Anal clinical examination (proctoscopy).
consult with a colorectal surgeon.
i think i answered your question.
thanks
