CRL - 66.5mm --- 13 weeks 0 Days EDD is 12/07/2014 according to the maturity NT - 0.9mm Nasal Bone is Seen Placenta is located on posterior uterine wall, low lying reaching within 8mm of internal OS Liquor is adequate, fetal heart rate measures 157 beats per minutes and of regular rhythm. Cervical Length measures - 38mm, Internal OS is closed. Both Ovaries seen normal....
# This report I got on 04/01/14, I am little bit tensed with placenta ... Can you please check the report and make a remarks on it ? Can Low lying Placenta be OK by itself with the time ? Will It create any complication for baby or mother?
At this stage in pregnancy, a low lying placenta (LLP) is very common and nothing to be concerned about. usually, as the uterus grows, the placenta will move away from the cervix and your pregnancy will be normal. Most doctors will want to get a repeat ultrasound later on just to make sure the placenta is not too close to the cervix. Everything else on that report looked fine. Congratulations!
