Is Negative Test In Eclia HIV 1&2 Ab Ag P24 Conclusive?

Hi Dr.
I had an Eclia HIV 1&2 ab ag p24 test 45 days after exposure (protected vaginal, unprotected oral). The result came negative with a value of 0.665

Hello, Good to hear about your negative result. If I am your advising doctor I advice you to become tension free. The result you have mentioned is completely normal. I want to add you that P24 antigen test is one of the earliest confirmatory diagnosis for HIV. As you have gone through it and that is also after 45 days it is a completely a worry free result. Usually P24 antigens comes positive after 28 days. So in my suggestion you are HIV free. If you have any other questions kindly contact me. Thankyou.
