Is Numbness In Buttocks And Feet A Side Effect Of Taking Lansoprazole?

I have been taking lansoprazole since Sunday for upper gastric pain. Since Friday I have noticed a numbness on the left side from the buttocks to my feet. Is this a side effect and should I seek medical attention? I have an appointment to see my doctor tues.

hi,
there is no relation between the numbness and lansoprazole. you could be having a disc disease in your spine, causing root compression, or a different cause altogether like meralgia.
you may consult your doctor if it persists.
all the best.
