Is Ovofar Effective In Helping To Conceive?

My wife want to be pregnent but it s not happening for the last 1 year. Laproscopy done on last Jan, for clearing tubal blockage. Doctor adviced to take ovofar 50 mg twice a day for 5 days and try to get pregnent. Could you please advice whether she can get pregnent. We are in urgent need of a baby.
