Is Rash On Neck And Arms After Taking Prescribed Augmentin Concerning?

My six year old was prescribed augmenting today and has developed a rash on her neck and arms. I administered Benadryl. After reading the reactions I am very concerned. She is asleep, and I need to know if this reaction is something I need to take her to the ER?

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM .
The spots you are noticing may be due to reaction after ingesting augmentin.
It may be also due to allergy unconcerned with augmentin administration .
They usually pass off after stopping augmentin or after giving anti histamine syrup.
