General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Saloken-XL belongs to anti hypertensives class of beta blockers which is also given in hyperthyroidism patients to control the heart rate. Since you have hypothyroidism, it is safe for you to take it as it wont affect your thyroid levels. It is quite useful in treating hypertension as well. So you should not worry about it and take the medicines prescribed to you.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Manreet Benipal, General & Family Physician
