Is Severe Burning Sensation In The Heel Of My Right Hand Related To CTS?

Hi, I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel a couple of years ago but yesterday I woke up with a severe burning sensation in the heel of my right hand - it has got worse today and hurts when I put any pressure on my right hand at all. I was just wondering if it is related to carpal tunnel and if so, does this mean that it is getting worse and I need to give in and have the op - or could it be something else?

Burning sensation, especially at night is CTS sign.
If pressure over wrist joint causes pain, burning sensation or paresthesias in fingers, then it confirms CTS.
