Is Surgery Needed For The Fibroids And Cysts With Uterus Bulky And Anteverted?

i did an ultra sound on my pelvic which showed that i have fibroids, measuring 9.5*7.0*5.8cm the uterus was anteverted and bulky, there was an anterio-fundal firroid with echogenic rim (calcification) and measured 5.2*4.0cm some smaller intramural fibroids, at least two measuring 1.2-1.5cm, right ovary appeared normal and measured 3.7cm in length, with a volume of 8.5cc. simple cyst measure about 7.3*4.6 cm was noted to the left ovary and there were no other adnexal masses or free fluid. what does this really means. will i be able to get pregnant again my husband and i have a 9 years old son and we are thinking of having another child will i need to do an operation or what please advise me .

Hello and welcome,

I understand that you have multiple fibroids and want pregnancy. So the surgery of choice is myomectomy or removal of fibroids. It may not always be possible to remove all the fibroids. Chances of pregnancy after this surgery are definitely there.
The cyst in ovary is also big and can be removed during myomectomy improving chances of pregnancy.
So please discuss this with your doctor as he/she will be best able to comment upon chances of future pregnancy after looking at the fibroids as well as after examination.
