Is Swelling On Forehead Moving To Bridge Between Eyes After Having 20 Stitches On Hairline Due To Fall Serious?
I fell and cut my head open 4 days ago and they cleaned out the laceration and put 20 stitches from my hairline to the middle of my head, I had some swelling on the forehead and now it has moved to the bridge between my eyes is this normal or should I be concerned?
I'd recommend you get that injury looked at. When lacerations on the face or head are closed with stitches or staples the risk is that accumulations of fluid can occur which can cause intense swelling since there isn't a whole of room below the scalp to go...therefore, stitches can come loose or break, infections can get started, and you could end up with other complications. Get this thing checked out sooner rather than later. If you find this information useful please consider giving a STAR RATING and some written feedback.
