Is Swollen, Black And Blue Colored Ear Lobe After A Fall Normal?

my 6 year old son fell yesterday and hit his ear lobe. it is very swollen, and the actually lobe was black and blue. today the swelling is a little better but now the lobe is almost black! does it just need to heal on its own like a bruise, or do i have to take him in somewhwere..is that serious, or bad?

hello,thank you for consultation.best treatment for your child is masterly inactivity,it means just keep him under observstion and give only symptomatic treatment.i will suggest syrup-brufen junior 5ml twice daily.watch for 7 to 10 days.if you find any other symptoms or changes consul doctor.wish your child good health.
